SILK SMITHA (2 Dec 1960 – 23 Sep 1996) Through Indian history there are some who don't have the balls and there are some who didn't need it. Vijayalakshmi Vadlapati, was a major sex symbol in South Indian cinema, probably the most sought-after erotic actress in the 80's. On 23 September 1996, she was found dead in her apartment in Chennai, apparently having committed suicide.
